Food Fight! Shoot Out

A Turn-Based Real-time RPG concept game themed as a food fight involving non-lethal cannons. Inspired by Final Fantasy, a Sonic fan-game: Sonic RPG - Ep. 10, and a previous VR project.

How to Play:

  • Use the mouse to choose a move. Right Click when choosing a Skill or Special to cancel and go back to the main selection screen.
  • As the game progresses, the move gauge fills up continuously. It pauses whenever you are choosing a Skill or Special. Similarly, Chilli Rose's patience will fill continuously too, and will attack at 100%. Using any damage move will increase their patience by a small amount. 
  • You can use an Attack, Skill or Special depending on how full your move gauge is. You can attack when 1/3 of the gauge (33%) is full, use a skill when 2/3 of the gauge (66%) is full, or use a Special when the gauge is full (100%).
  • Defeat Chilli Rose depleting their HP to 0 by planning your moves.

A small Tip:

  • Chilli Rose gets assigned one out of four movesets when the game starts. Then, Chilli Rose will fight in that set pattern for the rest of the game. You can use that to your advantage when choosing your moves. 


Known issues:

  • Performing another move straight after one - whilst the gauge is slowed down briefly, will permanently slow down the move gauge. Similarly, you might be able to permanently increase your move gauge fill rate. 
  • Defense is present in the game as a stat, but you will not receive damage reduction. The damage formula did not work as intended for Enemy -> Player damage, so defense is disabled for now.
  • No Win/Lose Condition implemented yet. maths is difficult, i spent way too long on it.
